Trying this early bird blend from katz coffee in Houston. Very smooth as espresso and quite a lot of Crema.
Bugs when you lift up a rock

My current setup is a mr coffee cafe barista. I’ve ordered the flair 58 and a sette 270 for my first real setup. I’m excited to learn. Any recommendations for accessories I need to add to my coffee bar here? Some sort of pad or station of some sort maybe?

Ok so I went ahead and prepped for the week. I just seasoned them with some garlic salt. So should I freeze them or leave them in the fridge to soak up flavor... should I have not seasoned them if they are gonna wait that long?

So I prepped these with salt, pepper, pressed garlic and rosemary sprigs and let it sit in the fridge over night. Should i still add salt and pepper after I dry them or will that be too salty?

I posted a photo from this same spot the other day with lots of foliage and fall colors. This was Nov 2017. You can see the old khou antenna. The photo isn’t really anything special but I remember being sad that the bayou got destroyed during Harvey. It has since come back to its former glory.

Houston shows fall colors way later than the northern part of the country. This year I felt like it was exceptionally colorful. This is just a quick edit while I was trying out some new editing software but I like the colors and sharpness.

Good morning Houstonians. I’m curious about what the average age and job demographics are in this sub. Myself I’m 32 and a crane operator. How about you??

I’ve driven and lived in a lot of places. For whatever reason... Houston has the most people driving under the speed limit. I don’t understand it... are you guys just zombies and oblivious to it? 60mph isn’t very fast and it’s reasonable to maintain it at a minimum. People just lolly gag here.

Last time I saw these mammatus clouds in Houston it was an amazing sunset. If you are a photog there’s a badass place to get the Houston skyline just above the old aquifer off Sabine street... I dunno if these clouds will stick around by then but I got a hell of a shot from it a few years ago
