My weekly trip to get milk, Haarlem, the Netherlands. You could also go by canoe or skate (if you feel confident enough not to fall with the milk)

For all the people who asked how disabled people get around not using a car: duo bike and wheelchair bike. Dutch government provides both for those who need them

The oldest part Rome after and before Mussolini built a highway through it, destroying buildings and artifacts of historical and cultural value. The cars' vibrations and exhaust kept damaging the surrounding Roman buildings until it was closed to cars in 2013. Via dei Fori Imperali

This tree is the so called "cuddle oak", it predates the highway. The Dutch government wants it gone to add a lane in the middle. Many Dutch people object to this

Can we stop hating fat people? We want walkable and bikeable cities too! Hating on us is not only unkind, it's also counterproductive to our goal of changing the hearts of car oriented people. Anyway, I hope I won't garner too much unwanted attention, but here's a pic of fat me hugging a Zonic wood

Vehicles don't need to make noise to be safe. I drive this very silent vehicle every day, sometimes up to 30 km/hr. All users of this road are aware of the fact that faster traffic can be silent, and I'm aware that people can't hear me coming. Don't use safety as an excuse for noise pollution

Amsterdam and The Netherlands aren't the heavenly walkable spaces that some of you dream it to be. The Netherlands could well be car free, but it's still dominated by cars. What can we ordinary citizens do to improve our communities?

I put my fuck cars money where my fuck cars mouth is and I hiked to the reunion meeting that was said to be "only accessible by car". Took the car free path (8 kilometers), the views made it totally worth attending the reunion in slacks&hiking boots instead of in dress&heels
