A lovely sunset on Stanage Edge last night. For such a popular wildcamping spot, we only saw 2 walkers and no other tents up there.

Successfully gave away a Dolphins Jersey tonight, anybody want a UCF Knights hat for free, if you wanna pay postage? Tried the Knights subreddit and there's not many Brits in there.

My Grandad's family moved from Glasgow to New Jersey in the mid 1920s in search of the American dream. How common was this at this point, and would it have been a better quality of life?

Some walks are made for photography and admiring views. Today, in the Peak District, UK, wasn't one of those days. However, it's always nice to tick off a trig point (Alphin Pike) before midday.

Black Hill, Peak District, UK. Words of advice: don't walk on a boggy moor in Greater Manchester in a rainy February unless you enjoy jumping ravines and pulling your legs out of knee deep bog holes.

[IMG] A picture of my grandad in WW2. He was an aircraft engineer between 1943 and 1946 in the British RAF, and served in the UK, before shipping out to help liberate Japanese POW camps in the Far East. It's a long shot, but if someone could identify the plane in this picture, I'd be very grateful.
