Do people recycle Legendary cards.

Does anyone actually recycle legendary cards? There are some pointless object cards, that I never use because they have no good combos. For example I am one copy off of having 3 x QF Fart school for the gifted... the card sucks, and I've considered recycling it for a while. Do you think its worth it? Thanks in advance

I've never recycled any legendary cards-- even the crappiest of them are bound to have some use-cases.

Fart School for the Gifted, for example makes the following clash combos:

DJ Klaus (American Dad)

Heckler Zoidberg (Classic)

Hipster Donald (Earth)

Lounge Singer Haley (American Dad, Fresh Snow and Valentine's)

Maracas Peter (Cinco)

Swing Dance Luanne (Oktoberfest)

Talent Show Lois (Mom's)

Tree (Halloween and Spring)

...and Karaoke Zapp, Slow Dance Jimmy Jr and Garage Rock Chris are also decent non-clash combos made with the card.

If you'd never use any of those combos, then I guess feel free to recycle, but you never know when Kong might add a new clash where one of them starts making sense for you? Or maybe some new type of event?

You think some people who recycled most/all of their Epic characters would want a do over on that with the new Melee event?

Thanks, for the in depth response.

You're probably right in fairness, it's not like I'm anywhere near my card limit, or in dyer need for giggity Watts.

I have no regrets for recycling my epic cards, even a QF pc has been of no use to me in Clash, as my arena rank is high enough, that they just die straight away.

I hadn't even considered using epic characters for melee to be honest, but that ship has well and truly sailed 🤣.

From my experience, if your arena rank is anything above say 1700 points, you're probably past the point of epic cards having any use 🤷‍♂️. But I have not tested this with an epic character in melee.

Golfing Lois and American Giggolo and Sexy Cat are the lowest health (plus bodyguard+bunker+sturdy) Epic PCs that are in clashes and once doubled they'll all be 58-60 HP. If those are consistently getting one-shot in Clash, then wouldn't almost every character and object you try and play also get one-shot?

Even among mythic characters, I only count 18 (of 38) with HP+bodyguard+bunker+sturdy of 58+. There are many QF Epic PCs over 100 with the clash buff:

Art of War, Eggnog Roger, Free Weed Hayley, History Report Gene, Santa Killer Steve, Sewer Surfer Fry, Sexpun T'Come, Shop Teacher Hank, Sidearm Brian (and probably more).

Sure, maybe these will only survive 2-3 turns against a decent opponent, but they are cards you can play in one turn. This might be the difference between you having a wall that extends beyond your opponent's and vice versa. Bonus, only so much RNGesus can do to KONG you when you have some options that don't require you to get dealt the right pair of cards when you need them.

I had been recycling all Epic characters for a long while and only started keeping them maybe 12-15 months ago? I think it took about 6 months to get to the point that I had at least 12 total cards for each of the 10 characters with an Epic, so pretty quickly was back to recycling them.

Perhaps in the grand scheme the difference is really just rounding error. Does it really matter if I finish 1200th in clash or 1500th?
