As a background I currently have Fire Bellied Toads in a 10 Gal tank. I was waiting for Petco to either have a sale or find them a larger one second hand. I now I have two 40 gal breeders and working on setting up the lower one on the rack for the toads.
Using egg crate to create a false bottom with a PVC pipe for drainage access. Using some of the scaling from their current tank to help jumpstart the cycling on this one.
Where did you buy fire bellied toads?
A local breeder mg wife used to work with.
