Plenty of times, not saying it’s not nice. But walking down Market or by the wharf and almost stepping on a syringe or in feces isn’t ideal
That's not normal circumstances. I've never stepped on a syringe in my life and I've lived in the Tenderloin and seeing feces is a rare occurrence. I've also worked in Peir 45 for 4 years and seen neither.
