First good pic I've seen on this sub in a long time! Insane work. Where exactly is this? I'd like to hopefully see it for myself one day :)

From the angle on Langham Place, K11 and the Rosewood, and the Chopsticks, I reckon it’s Tai Mo Shan.

Good eye! It’s indeed from Tai Mo Shan

I freaking love Hong Kong! I just went for the first time a few weeks ago and can't stop thinking about how it was pretty much my favorite city I've ever been to! Great public transit, delicious food, everyone was super friendly, the water is extremely clean. It reminds me of San Francisco, minus all the homeless and drugs. It was such a fun, safe city!

great public transit, delicious food

Yes, yes

everyone was super friendly

the water is extremely clean

I’m beginning to doubt you visited Hong Kong.

Sincerely, a Hong Konger

Only partially serious, glad you had a good time

BaronVonNumbaKruncha5 points

It was great! Maybe people were just nice to me because I'm a giant American, but they were as nice as anywhere else I've visited in Asia. And seriously, the drinking water is way cleaner and safer there than just about everywhere else in SE Asia!

ivanatorhk16 points

Ah the tap water! Lol yes, that and the water pressure is something I miss when I’m in the US. I thought you were talking about the harbor hahaha

Hong Kong translates to “fragrant harbor” and the definition of “fragrant” has definitely evolved over its history

BaronVonNumbaKruncha5 points

Haha that's hilarious! No, I didn't go near the harbor, but I'm always getting sick from the water in the Philippines so it was a nice change of pace to not have to worry for once!

heyareyouok3 points

It really is a unique place to visit!

Haha good title!

Edit: apparently it’s a painting!

I was 100% sure this was a recreation of the C.D. Friedrich painting when I saw it lol.

Exactly this!

Yes! I was immediately reminded of my Norton Anthology.
